Species list of Toothed Whales
There are many more types of toothed whale that there are of baleen whale, the general theory for
why this might be is; toothed whales are smaller than baleen whales are and also dispersed all over the ocean
where as the baleen whales tend to be found in specific areas. Because the whales are smaller they require
less territory to hunt in and so there can be more whales in any one area ,this allows there to be more
species types overall.
